About Us
Central California Pets Alive is a grassroots advocacy effort to reform Stockton Animal Services.Our goals are to advocate for animal services in Stockton and San Joaquin that commits to saving every healthy and treatable animal. The No Kill Equation, implemented comprehensively and with integrity, has enabled over 75 communities to save every healthy and treatable pet brought to animal shelters, including open-admission shelters. The No Kill Equation works in all types of communities. Saving every homeless pet is not a matter of money but of will and leadership.
We are not a 501(c)3 organization, though we work with several rescues. Our advocacy has led us to rescue animals from Stockton Animal Services and strays. We also sometimes feature "courtesy posts"--for information, contact CentralCaliforniaPetsAlive@gmail.com
