Our Adoptable Animals

The mission of the Humane Society of the Sierra Foothills is simple, to stop or prevent animal cruelty. Our highly trained humane officers work to educate the public, investigate animal cruelty complaints, and protect animals from neglect and abuse. This work encompasses a highly emotional mix of sensitive issues. From rescuing animal victims of cruelty to rehabilitating them and finding them good homes, we are dependent on support through donations from generous and compassionate people like you. Only then can we assure these animals a new beginning.

Incorporated in 2007 as a tax deductible 501(c)3 non-profit humane society. Like all humane societies and SPCA's, HSSF is an independent organization not affiliated with any other entity, and we do not receive any government funding.

For more information on being part of the HSSF group and helping homeless, abused and neglected animals, visit our WEBSITE, or lend a hand for animals by becoming a VOLUNTEER.

Thank you for caring about the animals. We hope you'll check back soon to visit our adoptable animals.
