THE PROBLEM:
There are FAR MORE cats and dogs born every day then humans. Thousands of wonderful, healthy pets are killed EVERY DAY in US shelters, simply because they are homeless and the shelters are FULL.
WAYS YOU CAN HELP:
1. Promote ADOPTION.
2. Promote SPAYING AND NEUTERING of ALL pets.
3. FOSTER a homeless pet.- The rescue groups will sometime pay the bills if you foster for them!
4. TRANSPORT dogs to their new homes.
5. NEVER BUY a puppy from a pet store or breeder.
6. Donate used pet supplies.
7. Walk dogs at your local shelter.
8.ALWAYS SPEAK UP: If you know someone who wants to breed their dog so their kids can see the life cycle, convince them to instead FOSTER a pregnant female, or a mom and nursing litter that is on death row, already slated for euthanasia.
