SamsungSamsung's Story:
Samsung was bought by a guy who wanted a purebred cat, but he kept him crated in his bedroom from the time he was a kitten until he was 9+ months old then he dumped Samsung off at his girlfriend's house where he lived pretty much alone in a spare bedroom for another 9 months.

Our rescue was called in May 2009 as we deal with a lot of temperamental cats to see if we could evaluate his behavior and make the decision that if this handsome young cat's past was too much for him to recover from and he would need to go to a barn home.

Initially he was kept in a crate where he felt safe and content. His foster family showered him with lots of love and told him what a great kitty he is. After a several weeks and a couple of trial runs outside of the crate that weren't too successful, they decided to try it again. This time he was not as frightened and his fosters got to meet the real Samsung, the kitty in him that was just yearning to receive unconditional love. This is all he wants to give and all he is asking for in return. Samsung now sleeps with his foster mom at night, he follows her around talking. His mom thinks he is telling her "thank you for hanging in with me and allowing my emotional scars to heal"

Samsung is a very handsome and loving cat with a beautiful soul who is now ready for his next and final leg of his journey, finding a forever home. This is the time for him to close this chapter and begin his happy ending.
