Founded by Vivian Peacock, ACGSR, Inc. (All Creatures Great and Small Animal Rescue) is a foster-home based animal rescue located in Hollister, California. Our primary function is to assist our local shelters by retrieving animals that would otherwise be euthanized, due to lack of space or special-needs veterinary care.
All our pets are raised in loving foster home environments, making them more adoptable, balanced and socialized.
We advocate the spaying and neutering of all pets and try to educate those who do not understand the implications of not altering their pets. |

We encourage the public to participate in our spay and neuter program for feral cats, thus saving the lives of these often unwanted cats and kittens.
ACGSR, Inc. is a strong and vigilant advocate in the rights for all animals. We believe that by working with other rescue organizations, we can save lives by retrieving more animals from surrounding shelters. All Creatures Great & Small Rescue is based in Hollister, CA which is located in California's
Central Coast region, between the Gavilan and Diablo Ranges
of the Santa Cruz Mountains. Hollister is approximately 100 miles southeast of San Francisco and 40 miles east of
Monterey.
As we are a foster-home based rescue; we do not have a shelter which houses all our adoptable animals. We do, however, termporarily board some of our animals at the wonderful Dog House Inn in nearby Gilroy, CA, while the animals await a foster or permanent home. You can contact ACGSR, Inc. to make arrangements to meet at the Dog House Inn to view and interact with any of our adoptable pets. All pets receive a thorough veterinary and dental exam. Our adoption fee includes spaying or neutering, vaccinations, worming, heartworm testing (for dogs) and FELV/FIV testing (for cats). Dental care (tooth cleaning, extractions), if deemed necessary by our vets, is performed prior to adoption. Advantage Multi® is applied to both felines and canines. Our pets also have regular trips to the groomers while in foster care.
Adoption fees:
Feline - $120.00 - $150.00
Canines - $250.00.
