Services
In the nearly 40 years since our inception, RCHS has grown from a small facility run by volunteers to a professionally managed Humane Society that provides quality shelter care, adoption services, education programs and an animal safehouse program for the survivors of domestic violence. Hours
Our shelter is open to the public every day 11am to 5pm, and 11:30am to 5pm on Tuesdays.

Fees The adoption fee for cats and dogs is $100. For puppies and kittens age 6 months and younger, the adoption fee is $150. Donations The Rancho Coastal Humane Society is a non-profit, 501(c)3, charitable organization. We are not tax supported, nor are we funded by any government agency. Volunteer Program
Like most animal shelters, Rancho Coastal Humane Society is always looking for volunteers! If you love animals and would like to help, we want you! Whether you want to spend time with our animals, foster young kittens, help with fundraising or computer work or become a Thrift Shop volunteer, simply fill out our online application to get started!
