It's not kitten season but we still have some little ones,9 to 12 weeks old and a lot of little bit older kittens, not all of them on-line yet, come see them at our adoptions on Saturday and Sunday. We are always in need of people who want to open up their backyard to stray cats. Sometimes we trap cats in such bad places that it is heartbreaking to put them back after they are fixed, especially the little ones. If you are willing to feed a stray cat, excellent rodent deterrent, we will lend you a cage for a couple of weeks so the cat can get used to you and its new home. Sometimes these strays turn in to very loving cats.
Who We Are
We are an all volunteer group whose main goal is to decrease cat overpopulation and euthanasia. We are strong advocates of Spay/Neuter programs for tame cats and Trap, Neuter and Release (TNR) programs for feral and stray cats. We are out on the streets, actively searching for feral colonies or strays to trap and sterilize. All our reports of feral or stray cats come from the public. We mainly trap in Ventura County but when needed, and if we have volunteers available, we venture out to the Greater Los Angeles Area. Since our incorporation March 2008, we have trapped and sterilized a countless number of cats. Fortunately we were able to find homes for close to 400 cats and kittens that were either already tame when we rescued them or were socialized by our fosters.

Adopting a friend
Our adoption process is pretty simple, you fill out an 1 page application questionnaire. If the adopter is a renter we require permission from the landlord. Upon approval (very often the same day), the foster or another volunteer will deliver the cat to your house, you sign our adoption agreement and pay an adoption fee of $95.00. This fee includes the spay/neuter, vaccinations, deworming, flea treatment and Feline Leukemia testing.
