Sassy is a gorgeous flamepoint Siamese mix, who has had a bit of “bad luck” in her lifetime. She was bought in a pet store for a little girl, but when the girl became allergic, her mother booted Sassy outside, which resulted in Sassy being attacked by a coyote. She had some pretty extensive injuries, but fortunately, Sassy was one of the lucky ones and has healed up completely. After having the vet take care of Sassy, the mother was going to take her to the local shelter, but we stepped in and took her in instead. Sassy loves to give kisses, and is an absolute sweetheart, but for some reason, the other cats pick on her (guess she doesn’t have enough of a “(cat)titude” so she would be happiest in a home without other cats (well, maybe she could tolerate one very sweet one) and NO dogs (not too thrilled with them after her little coyote attack!). After all this poor girl has been through, she really deserves to have some “good” luck for a change. Is there anyone out there who would like to give her the love and attention that she longs for?
If you are interested in adopting Sassy, please contact Sharon at sebastian_sophie@yahoo.com to have an application either e-mailed or faxed to you, or you can call me at 626/676-7648.
About Us
The Cat Posse is a group of individuals devoted to rescuing and rehabilitating unwanted and abused cats in Southern California. We educate our communities about the importance of spaying and neutering, and we believe that all animals deserve dignity and kindness as we work toward the day when all public shelters will be "no kill".
Adoption Procedure
Before we can leave any of our rescued cats in your hands, we need you to fill out our application. The cat you want to adopt could have trouble adapting to your home, and it is important to identify potential problems before they materialize. The last thing we want is for the cat to harm members of your family, or for them to be unhappy or unsafe in their new home. Also, it is very hard on the cat to move it from one home to the next so we want to make sure it has a very good chance of becoming a permanent, happy member in your family.
Once we receive your completed application, one of our volunteers will contact you, your veterinarian, and your references, and then make arrangements for a home visit. If things look promising enough, then you are well on your way to forming a lifelong relationship with your new pet! All of our cats are fostered in homes and are available to meet with an appointment.
The minimum adoption donation for all cats is $120.00.
