Our pet of the month introduces him or herself...

The Akita Resource Network is an Akita rescue group focused on three objectives:

Becoming an important information center to current and potential owners of Akitas so that they raise healthy, happy, and socialized Akitas

Providing support and critical information to those who have to surrender their dogs so that they can adopt out their Akitas the RIGHT way

Finding loving, permanent homes for the canine friends who come into the organization's care

To adopt an Akita, potential owners must:

fill out an application

have their application approved

submit to a home inspection

sign an adoption contract

pay an adoption fee

Adoption fee covers veterinary expenses and everyday care for our companion animals.
