Jade is a super sweet, mellow ex-momma kitty that we rescued last summer with her three adorable kittens. Her kittens have all been adopted but she is still waiting for a family of her own. She is a very gentle, affectionate girl with beautiful jet black fur, and she loves to be petted. She likes to sleep on the bed with her foster family and get lots of cuddles. She has the sort of easygoing temperament that would make her a great fit for families with children.
Our group does not have a shelter, all of our foster animals are cared for in individual volunteer foster homes and are only available for meetings after you've submitted an application, and by appointment only. This is great for our rescued animals (they get to live in a normal home instead of waiting in a cage until they find a home) and it's good for our adopters as well. You'll get to see how they behave in a normal home environment.

Can't foster? We can use lots of other kinds of volunteers. If you are interested in transporting from the shelter, or to / from neuter appointments, or if you can cat-sit or dog-sit an animal for a few days if their regular foster home goes out of town, please contact us.
By adopting a cat or dog from Tailchaser Rescue, you're making a commitment to provide love, care, and medical treatment for the life of the animal. We make every effort to make the best possible match when placing our rescued animals with new families. Each adoptive home is screened carefully, and support is given throughout the adoption to make sure it is a success.
The required adoption donation for cats begins at $100, and dogs begin at $200. All animals are spayed and neutered prior to adoption.
