Marvin is a Scottish Terrier/Poodle Mix-we think-and about 4 years old. He came to us badly matted, from a home with too many dogs and too little time. Marvin has a serious overbite, but the veterinarian has checked him out, and thankfully it is just cosmetic. His tongue hangs out most of the time due to his overbite, but we think that just makes him special. Marvin was shy when we took him in, not properly socialized in his former "home", but he has come out of his shell and now is looking for someone to love him.

Who We Are
Leo's Pet Assistance Fund was founded in 2008 to serve the Antelope Valley area, and beyond if possible. Although we are a new group, our volunteers have been active for years rescuing animals from local shelters-often the ones that need the most help. Our mascot, Leo, hopes that one day there will be NO unwanted animals living their lifes out in cages, and the only way that we can reduce the numbers of unwanted animals is to spay and neuter.
If you are interested in one of our adoptable friends, please email leospets@gmail.com or call (661)575-5676. Our mailing address is: 4654-B E. Avenue S #251
Palmdale, CA 99352
We are dedicated to promoting the spay and neuter of cats and dogs and are working to provide financial help for spay and neuter. We have received our federal and state tax exempt status, all donations are tax deductible.
Adopting a friend
We are currently doing adoptions on Saturdays at the Lancaster Petsmart on Valley Central Way from 12 to 3:30 PM. If you are interested in a particular dog, please email us or call, as we can not bring all the dogs every Saturday. All our animals are spayed or netured prior to adoption, current on their vaccines, and if old enough, have a rabies shot. Our adoption process consists of an application, interview, and ia home check. If approved, a contract will be signed, and one of our representatives will contact you within 14 days to see how the adoption is going, and to address any concerns. To adopt one of our dogs, we prefer that you own your own home, have a fenced yard appropriate for the dog, and all dogs must have house privileges. Applications can be obtained by emailing leospets@gmail.com
