Our Featured Pet...

My name is Clover and I am about 3 yrs old, rescued on my last day from the Merced shelter. I have been waiting such a long time for a forever home, I know the right family is out there for me somewhere. Everyone just loves me, I am very spunky and full of personality. I am an active dog and love to go on walks and roll around in the grass. I absolutely LOVE to sit in my humans lap. Please come down and meet this sweet boy, he has been waiting for such a long time for his forever home and he is just the sweetest, jumps right in your lap to cuddle..... He needs a home for the holidays. You can visit Clover at The Pet Rescue Center (inside of the Alicia Pet Care Center) 25800 Jeronimo Rd. Suite 100 Mission Viejo... (877)277-7938 or info@thepetrescuecenter.org ADOPTION PROCESS All interested parties must fill out an Adoption Application, which will be reviewed to find the best possible match. Our adoption fee is $300 for dogs and $150 for cats, and includes vet exam, spay, microchip, flea treatment, and current vaccinations. This fee helps to defray the costs of medical care, supplies and boarding while the animals are in our care. You can find our application online at: http://www.thepetrescuecenter.org/adoptapet.html. CALLING ALL GIRL SCOUTS AND BROWNIE TROOPS

There are so many ways you can help support The Pet Rescue Center.

How about:

Organizing a Bake Sale or Lemonade Stand.

Organizing a Pet Supply/Toy Drive

These are great ways you can help. You can host one of these events in your neighborhood, at a local pet store, school, church ,etc. Proceeds would benefit the animals and would help our rescue efforts. This is a great opportunity that familes, groups and church groups can do together. While this is not a hands on opportunity working with the animals, it is a great way to become involved in supporting the animals and our rescue efforts

Who We Are

Our Goal is to rescue animals from high kill shelters before euthansia. We also want to work with the community on education as to the pet overpopulation problem, spay/neuter and rescue programs. In this effort, we provide a no-kill, veterinary supervised temporary sanctuary for these pets while we work to locate an adopting family.

Additionally, The Pet Rescue Center allocates financial grants, to provide critical or lifesaving treatments for pets with special needs to our rescues and to the public
