Consider adopting a homeless cat or kitten. It makes all the difference in the world to just one cat. Gena's Friends for Felines is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization.

DONATIONS are always appreciated and very much needed. Cash or check donations help pay medical bills, or if you prefer, we always need paper, cat toys and beds, treats, cleaning cloths, newspapers.

Donated items can be dropped off at Petsmart 573 N. McKinley Avenue, Corona, CA 92879

VOLUNTEERS are always needed too! If you have any available time at all during the week or on weekends and love being around cats, come be a part of our mission.
It is very rewarding and an honor to take care of these beautiful animals while in our care, and tremendously satisfying to see them finally meet up with their new forever families.

While many millions of cats and dogs are fortunate enough to be valued members of families, many other millions are needlessly killed in animal shelters around the country each year, for no fault of their own. While we can't rescue all of them, we can make a difference to some of them.
"Gena's Friends For Felines" rescues as many adoptable cats as we can take care of from facing euthanasia in our local animal shelters. In addition to providing them with physical care and medical treatment, we give them lots of love and attention, and a safe home while they wait for their new family to adopt them. We operate entirely through the support of volunteers and donations. If you would like to help make a difference - big or small , it all helps.- please contact us below. Volunteer hours and and tasks vary and are flexible enough to meet most schedules.
We thank you for visiting Petfinder.com and hope you will find room in your heart and in your home for one - or two! - of our wonderful feline friends.

“The greatness of a nation can be judged by the way it’s animals are treated.” Ghandi.

Adopting a friend

Our goal is to successfully place our cats in suitable loving and permanent homes .
Each cat has its own personality and to ensure a successful adoption, there needs to be a match of both the cat's needs and personality and of the person/s wanting to adopt. We know our cats and so we need to get to know you! For that reason, every applicant must go through an interview in person. Interviews are not conducted over the phone. And please understand, that as we seek the right match and not the quickest adoption, we reserve the right to refuse an adoption application.
Adoption applicants must be over 18 years old and carry a photo ID.
The applicant must either be the homeowner or on the lease agreement, or if not, have that person be in attendance for the adoption interview, and be in agreement to the adoption.
