We are a small, independent rescue working only with Corgis and Corgi Mixes. We receive some funding for this work from CorgiAid, Inc, so please support CorgiAid at http://www.corgiaid.org Local corgi owners and owner wannabes may be interested in joining CenCal Corgi Club, http://pets.groups.yahoo.com/group/cencalcorgi/?yguid=9273709
The club supports Fresno Corgi Rescue and CorgiAid.
We are not currently able to assist in rescue, and suggest that you contact your local corgi club: Golden Gate Pembroke Welsh Corgi Club for Northern California or Forpaws Corgi Rescue for Northern California, or Pembroke Welsh Corgi Club of Southern California for Southern California.
Adopting a friend
When we have a dog available that might be your new best friend, you can email to request an application. We will require a reference and, usually, a home visit. Adoption fees vary according the the age of the dog and other factors but are at least $100. We do not often have corgis available and recommend that you also put in applications with your local corgi club rescue. We might, on an individual basis, adopt to an out-of-state applicant.
We also recommend you contact ForPaws Corgi Rescue and the Golden Gate or Southern California Pembroke Welsh Corgi clubs or the Cardigan Welsh corgi club of America. Make sure that you submit an application even if you do not see any available dogs listed; most dogs go directly to a waiting applicant and never appear on Petfinder or the group's website.
