Who We Are: Selma Animal Shelter is run by the City of Selma. It is in desperate need of funding, and MUCH NEEDED VOLUNTEERS! There is always something to do at the shelter - from cleaning kennels, to providing love and attention to the dogs. If you would like to volunteer or help out in any way, please email us at: selmanimalshelter@gmail.com for more information. Sadly, due to issues of overcrowding at the shelter many dogs are unfortunately euthanized. This is a common occurrence in many shelters across the state and nation, but you can help. Remember to spay and neuter your pet, and spread the word! If you are thinking of adopting a pet, please check out local rescue groups and shelters. There are MANY animals in shelters looking for good homes. Please come and visit us! We are always in need of donations, and any volunteer time is ALWAYS APPRECIATED! Thank you!

Adopting a Friend: Adopting a pet from a shelter is one of the best decisions you will ever make. You will give a second chance to an unwanted pet who would've otherwise been euthanized.
