NIKKI MARIE--I'm beautiful happy girl with a sweet attitude toward people. I get along great with other dogs and love to play all day long.
News
We're usually at Redding Petco every fourth Saturday of the month from noon to 4 p.m. with an interesting group of adoptable dogs. Please visit us there on January, 16th.
Who We Are
Spay & Neuter Intermountain Pets & Pet Placement (SNIPPP) is a no-kill animal welfare organization whose mission is to address and remedy the issues related to companion animal overpopulation through funding a spay/neuter program, community education, and the rescue and placement of at-risk animals.
We serve the communities of the Intermountain Area including Northeastern Shasta County and adjoining areas in Modoc and Lassen counties.
We are a California non-profit organization, staffed exclusively by volunteers, and governed by a Board of Directors. Our meetings are public, and we encourage community members to join us in our mission.
SNIPPP volunteers make sure that all rescued animals immediately receive appropriate vaccinations, heartworm testing and prevention, and medical treatment, if needed. SNIPPP pets are spayed or neutered before being placed for adoption, unless they are still too young, in which case we require later proof of being altered (the adopter will then be refunded $50). Many of our animals are microchipped.
SNIPPP volunteers place companion animals in temporary foster homes and seek permanent placement through the use of the internet, fliers, newspaper ads, announcements on local cable TV stations, and mobile adoptions.
SNIPPP Outreach provides spay and neuter vouchers for community members in our service area to help to alter their companion animals.
What you can do: join us! SNIPPP, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, federal ID #20-7288696 is supported entirely by tax-deductible donations from the community.
You can donate funds needed for the veterinary care and housing of rescued pets.
You can provide a foster home for a rescued animal until a permanent home is found. OUR ABILITY TO RESCUE ANIMALS DEPENDS ON HAVING FOSTER HOMES AVAILABLE; THIS IS ONE OF OUR MOST IMPORTANT, ONGOING NEEDS!
You can help to transport animals to Pet Adoption events.
You can use your computer skills to help publicize our adoptable animals.
You can donate your time, skills, or materials for the building of fenced enclosures for foster homes when needed.

Adopting a friend
We require an adoption contract, a home check, veterinary references, and an adoption donation of $100. Completing an application does not guarantee that you will be able to adopt from SNIPPP; our primary concern is with finding the most appropriate homes for the animals in our care. You may complete an Adoption Application online (click on the link "go to our official website" on any of our available pets' listings), or by requesting an adoption application from us by telephone or mail.
Come Visit Us!
You can see our pets available for adoption "in person" at our adoption events. We are at Petco in Redding at 1603 Hilltop Drive from noon to 4 the fourth Saturday of every month. We look forward to seeing you there! If you have applied and are approved as an adopter, we can arrange for you to meet individual pets you may be interested in at other times, too.
