Siskiyou County Animal Control is responsible for the unincorporated areas in all of Siskiyou County. We have 2 animal control officers, 18 dog kennels and 9 cat kennels. 500 - 700 stray or abandoned animals each year are brought in by our animal control officers and the public, many of these animals are not adopted. We are trying desperately to reverse this trend through education, spaying, neutering and adoptions.
