Companion Animal Rescue League

Companion Animal Rescue League, CARL, is an organization dedicated to helping displaced and abandoned animals at risk of euthanasia to find safe loving homes.† These pets ask only for compassion, love, and care in exchange for which they will give a lifetime of devotion.

Ours animals come to us from shelters, owner surrenders, and word of mouth. Dedicated volunteers care for these pets in foster homes around the Bay. We carefully screen prospective guardians and perform homes visits to ensure each pet is place in an environment compatible with his needs. If for any reason, circumstances change adversely, we require the pet be returned to us. Our adoptions are limited to placement in the Greater SF Bay Area. We never ship pets under any circumstances.

We are always in need of help, new foster homes are a high priority. If you think you'd like to foster a puppy or a dog please contact us. We'll supply food and other necessities, you supply a temporary home and love. Basic supplies are always needed too, Petco gift cards are especially appreciated.
