Maya is a Pyrenee Mountain Dog cross, who is a big, but very gentle and loving girl. She loves to visit and is very obedient, sitting, laying down and even giving kisses on command. This sweet dog loves all the attention she can get and would so very much love to have her own home where she could be part of her family.
Maya, like most dog will bark when visitors arrive outside her pen, but quickly calms down and welcomes the new arrivals.

Also at this site is the Maxine Palmer veterinary clinic for homeless animals that spays and neuters about 2,000 animals a year. We help about 1,000 dogs and 1,000 cats a year find loving homes.

Save-A-Pet has a large selection of cats and kittens on hand most of the time. We also have cats for adoption at Petsmart in Palm Desert near the Walmart Shopping Center. Our adoption fee is $90.00 for cats. $90.00 for kittens. All cats and kittens are spayed or neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. They also come with a thirty-day health guarantee, and annual free exams.
