Speedie is a gorgeous blue eyed Himalayan beauty,who besides her great looks has lots of personality and spirit. This young lady is outgoing, friendly, very playful and can be quite rascally. She is the kind of cat that likes to be part of your life and "help" with chores, like vacuuming (She has been known to ride the vacuum cleaner while it is being used!) and other everyday activities.
Speedie loves to play and in the absence of toys, she will wrestle with your hand, but always keeps her claws in. Provide her with lots of toys, mice, balls and small stuffed toys and you will have hours of entertainment with this playful beauty.
After lots of play and being part of your family activities, this sweetheart will settle for cuddles and pets - just make sure you wear her out with lots of play.
Speedie will make a great addition to a home with a playful male cat and perhaps a cat friendly dog. She would do well in a active home and will bring laughter, love and lots of entertainment into your home.

Angel is a sweet little boy, who was sadly found as a stray. This loving young fellow is a volunteer and staff favorite - he charms them all with his outgoing, cuddly and easy going nature. Good with other cats he could join you and perhaps your resident female cat to make the perfect family.

Save-A-Pet is open Wednesday to Sunday from 12 noon until 5 PM. We are now closed on Monday and Tuesday.

Save-A- Pet adoption center and botanical gardens are located at: 67-600 18th. Ave, Desert Hot Springs. 92241. We are one of two "No KIll" shelters here in the Coachella Valley.

Also at this site is the Maxine Palmer veterinary clinic for homeless animals that spays and neuters about 2,000 animals a year. We help about 1,000 dogs and 1,000 cats a year find loving homes.

CAT ADOPTIONS
Save-A-Pet has a large selection of cats and kittens on hand most of the time. We also have cats for adoption at Petsmart in Palm Desert near the Walmart Shopping Center. Our adoption fee is $90.00 for cats. $90.00 for kittens. All cats and kittens are spayed or neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. They also come with a thirty-day health guarantee, and annual free exams.
DOG ADOPTIONS
Save-A-Pet has a large selection of dogs and puppies on hand most of the time. $90 for puppies and small breeds, and $90 for all other dogs. All dogs and puppies are spayed, neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. They also come with a thirty-day health guarantee, and annual free exams.
