Mr. Louie is a big, scruffy, silly looking Boy.
He is super sweet. After spending 3 months in the pound, he is grateful for just a pat on the head. Louie is good with kids. He is great with other dogs (pictures of him with the little dogs). He is good with birds (I have pet parrots), he does not bother the cat. He just wants to get along.
He looks to be part Terrier, part Shepard, part Lab, part Stafforshire Terrier.
He is house broken. He is very, very, good on the leash. He sits, stays, shakes, heels.
He is a fun dog. He is an easy dog. He goes to the office with me once a week, the staff loves him, he lays around real calm, and wants tummy rubs.

Who We Are
Jett Rescue is a one person rescue effort. I foster 1-7 dogs at a time. All dogs roam freely with one another, in a large back yard. All dogs come from local shelters, or the streets of South Central. All dogs are spayed/neutered, are current on vaccinations and are microchipped. I only rescue dogs from county animal shelters who are scheduled to be enuthanized. I do not pick certain breeds, colors, or even size, but rescue those most in need. This generally results in rescuing animals that are old, sick, ugly, or just not showing well at the pound because they are frightened, or not socialized. I generally keep each dog for three months to one year, to rehabilitate them and socialize them. All my dogs must get along very well with other dogs, due to the fact I am not a kennel, I am a home. My mission is to save as many as I can, because I believe that the perfect dog exists for every person!
Adopting a friend
I do a home check. I am not looking for a palace, or perfection, just a safe place for a dog. I do ask for an Adoption Fee. An appropriate Adoption Fee ranges from $25.00 to $200.00, and should be based on your ability to pay. I reserve the right to waive any Fee based upon your circumstances. The donation is not based on how much I have invested in the dog, because more often than not, the price would be so great, that most people would not consider paying the vet bills (and I would not ask). (However, my faith in humanity has been restored when adopters have offered!)
