Who We Are

We are people who are trying to make a difference in this time when there are so many animals abandoned. It is rather like trying to bail the Titanic with a teaspoon. We at Pawpurrs rescue kittens and cats that are slated for euthanasia from shelters & throughout the community. We are dedicated to their rescue, rehabilitation and placement . Our goal is to save as many lives as we can, and offer them a chance at a long, loving and fulfilling life. Our Mission: To place rescued cats and kittens into GOOD, LOVING, PERMANENT homes. To prevent pet overpopulation through spaying and neutering, rather than euthanasia and to educate the public on the importance of spaying and neutering. To date (2010) we have been able to adopt out over 1600 cats and kittens. But the work goes on so long as people do not spay or neuter their pets. Please pass the word to your friends; they can save lives with one simple operation.

We show our cats and kittens at Big Al's Pet Warehouse in Simi Valley at the corner of First St. and Los Angeles Ave every and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. AND WE HAVE KITTENS MOST OF THE YEAR SO COME EARLY AS THEY GO FAST!
