Featured Cat
Melvin is 5 yr old, white and light orange, neutered male. Melvin had a tough life before he was rescued from a neighborhood.
One of his eyes was injured and needed to be removed. He has completely recovered and is doing well.
Melvin is FIV positive, and has to be adopted to a home with another FIV cat, or has to be the only cat in the household.
Due to his handicap he needs to be a indoor cat only. He is a nice kitty that needs a lot of reassurance & tender loving care.

Melvin is currently in a foster home but can be seen at PETSMART in FULLERTON, 1411 S HARBOR BLVD, CA 92831.
Adoptions take place on Saturday (11am - 4pm)
and on Sunday (11am - 3pm), or by appointment.

Cat adoption shows at the Fullerton Petsmart take place:
Saturdays
11am to 4pm
and
Sundays
11 am to 3pm
Cat adoption shows at the Long Beach Petsmart take place:
Saturdays
12 pm to 4pm
Adoptions can take place by appointment. Please contact the specific location for more details.
Adoption Process
In order to adopt a furry friend there is an adoption application that must be filled out. All possible
applicants will be thoroughly screened. We like to make sure that you are adopting the kitty that would
be your best companion. There is a contract that must be filled out and signed before the adoption is complete.
All of our cats and kittens have been tested negative for Feline leukemia virus (FeLV), had at least their
first 4-in-1 vaccination, are spayed or neutered, have been dewormed and treated for fleas. Please keep in mind
when adopting a cat or kitten that it is a lifetime commitment as they can live to be 20 years or more.
All cats and kittens must leave the store in a carrier!

Organization Information
Cats In Need of Human Care is a 501(c)3 non-profit/NO KILL organization. We strive to take in as
many cats and kittens that are in need of homes so as to help the over population, abused, neglected,
and homeless animals of our cities so they can have a second chance at having the best life possible.
Donations
Cats In Need of Human Care is an all volunteer organization and depends on community donations.
Supplies always welcomed are:
- food
- litter
- toys
- bedding
- anti-flea products
- medical supplies
Please drop by our center during the adoption shows to drop off all donations.
All donations are tax deductible and will directly benefits the cats.
Volunteer Opportunities
We are looking for dedicated volunteers to help at our cat adoptions shows in Fullerton. If you are able to
dedicate a few hours on Saturday and/or Sunday during the adoptions shows we will be happy to have
your help.
