Volunteering and Donations

Volunteering at the shelter is a fun and rewarding experience. Generally volunteers spend the majority of their time socializing with our animals, easing the transition from the shelter to the home. This is a great time for our animals to re-develop their trust in humans and for you to have some fun in the meantime! Other opportunities include pet therapy, foster care, mobile adoption and numerous other events throughout the year. For more information please call Kendall Story our Volunteer coordinator at 530-894-9066 ext 13.

Donations are always welcome and appreciated. Please make all checks out to the Butte Humane Society and send to the address below. If you would like a tax receipt, please include a SASE and a note with your request.
