Not every shelter has a no kill policy and thus some of the rabbits may be at risk for euthanization.
At the moment, we desperately need help with the bunnies in the interior. If you'd like to help, please contact Lisa and she will put you in touch with someone in your area.
BC Rabbit Rescue is a non-profit organization comprised of volunteers and services throughout the province. Our primary focus is to help to rehome rabbits truly in NEED. Neglected, injured and abandonded animals are our primary focus. Unfortunately only if a foster home is available, can we consider taking in "owner surrendered" rabbits. We will however help owners to rehome thier rabbits in every way possible.
Presently BCRR does NOT have a physical shelter. We are a network of foster parents throughout the province. We rely strictly on volunteers to do our work.
