Did you know that you can make a donation by purchasing a gift certificate from the local vet clinic? Did you know that you can also see our pets at www.fsjnow.com? Check that out, too!

Volunteers Needed!!

Not only do we need dog walkers and cat cuddlers, we love people who will help clean or do clerical work with our shelter computer system and internet! Call the shelter at 785-7722 or come in during office hours to find out more. Open noon until 2 pm, except Tuesday and Sunday.

Dog Walkers Welcomed!! Every Tuesday night from 6:30-8:00pm, as well as weekly Monday through Sunday 9 am to 2 pm. The shelter is closed Tuesdays and Sundays, but walkers can still help on those days once they are familiar with the routine. We'd love to be able to have other dog walking evenings/afternoons, but currently lack hosts for this. If you are interested in becoming a host, please see staff for details. Must be a responsible adult and must have some experience with our shelter first.

Our wish list:

Dog Food (Pedigree, Nutro or Prism brands preferred)/Cat Food (Nutro, Prism or non-red dye foods)

Dog/Cat Toys

Non Clumping Litter/Litter Pans

Leashes/Collars

Laundry Soap and Bounce

Blankets

The staff and animals at the North Peace SPCA would like to give a special thanks for all the generous donations made by those in our community with a concern for animals. A special thanks to those who wish to remain unseen for their assistance with our veterinary costs. Thanks also to our dedicated dog walkers, our evening hosts, and all those that volunteer their time and resources.
