Once this has been filled out, we request that you return the form to the shelter so that we can match you up with the best suited new companion to your lifestyle. The City of Surrey Animal Resource Centre is a government funded facility that cares for all domestic animals. Animals come into our care from the City of Surrey Animal Control department when found running at large and are housed at the facility throughout a stray hold prior to being placed for adoption in hopes that their owners will contact the shelter. Once the animals have been through a stray hold period at our shelter and all efforts have been made to find their owners, the animals are assessed to determine their needs, spayed/neutered, microchipped, vaccinated and have undergone any other veterinary care required and made available for adoption. We require an application, interview and reference check process for all animal adoptions.
WE HAVE MOVED!! The facility is now located at 17944 Colebrook Road in Cloverdale, BC. Our hours of operation are 10:00 am- 6:00 pm 7 days a week (except statutory holidays, when the facility is closed to the public) PLEASE NOTE: VIEWING HOURS FOR ADOPTABLE ANIMALS ARE BETWEEN 11:00AM AND 5:00 PM.
