We are pleased to announce Dhana Metta Rescue Society as the next generation of animal rescue societies. We are a registered non-profit society, dedicated to small/medium dog and cat rescue throughout Canada & the United States. Our focus in the U.S. are mostly natural disaster survivors, who unfortunately run out of time at the over crowded shelters.
As we continue to grow and establish ourselves, we hope to see rescue work as a communal endeavor. Each and every animal in need should receive help, from all of us. We will work together with other rescuers and shelters, all in the name of the animals.
If you are interested in adopting a new friend or family member, an adoption application will need to be completed prior to meeting the pet you are interested in. If your application is approved the next step would be to have a home visit done by one of our volunteers. The home visit is done so we can meet all interested parties as well as being sure your home is safe for a cat or dog. Adoption fees vary depending on expenses.
