One of our greatest needs is always foster homes. We work hard to find just the right foster home for every dog and will only place dogs that are appropriate to your situation.
Fostering is the life blood of rescue. Without it, the dogs are stuck in the shelters. The longer they are there, the more stressed they become and harder they are to adopt.
Once in a home, most settle quickly. They learn house manners, what is allowed and what isn't. This makes them far more adoptable quickly. If you live in British Columbia and would like to foster for West Coast Rottweiler Rescue, drop us a line. We will supply you with all vet care and training help if needed. What you offer is a warm place inside your home, good quality food, socialization, and a chance to help a Rottweiler in need.

Who We Are
West Coast Rottweiler Rescue is dedicated to assisting Rottweilers that are currently in the shelter system on the west coast of British Columbia. Whenever possible, West Coast Rottweiler Rescue will provide medical care, rehabilitation and homes for Rottweilers in need. We will ensure that every Rottweiler in our care is spayed or neutered unless it is medically unadvisable, will have clear identification such as a tattoo or microchip, will be assessed and placed in appropriate homes and support will be provided for the life of the dog. West Coast Rottweiler Rescue strives to educate the public in proper care, treatment and housing of Rottweilers. West Coast Rottweiler Rescue will not adopt dogs outside of Canada
Adopting a friend
WCRR has an extensive screening process to make sure that our dogs go to suitable homes. First step is to email us for an application. Suitable applications will be contacted to set up a time for a phone interview, reference check & home visit. While it may seem like an arduous process, it helps us to ensure that every Rottweiler in our care finds the perfect placement.
