Our Featured Pet...
Boone and Jesse are only two of the many dogs whose lives have been redeemed by the hardworking efforts of Catahoula Rescue, Inc Rescue Angels! Brother and sister, these two had been dumped in a Washington State high kill shelter to end their many years of service at the end of a needle without dignity! Didn't even matter that they were NALC registered dogs! Why would they end up in such dire straits at the age of 11? Because their family was moving and didn't have time for them any longer! When folks at CRI heard of their plight, we went into action! We had many folks donating funds to help with their care....and a wonderful family stepped forward to offer their home to these two mature Catahoula dogs. Now Boone and Jesse will have love and care for the rest of their days...knowing that they really DO count! Catahoula Rescue, Inc believes that all dogs deserve a chance...and with loving hands, hearts and generous folks who help support our efforts by offering a home or funds we CAN make a difference!

A Little Bit About Catahoula Rescue, Inc.
Who We Are
Catahoula Rescue, Inc. is a non-profit group comprised of volunteers all over the United States and Canada aimed at saving, rehabilitating and placing in permanent loving homes as many Catahoulas as possible. We are the first such group that was established to come to the aid of the Catahoula Leopard dog. Since our inception, other groups have been created-however Catahoula Rescue, Inc (or CRI) was the first. We have a dedicated group of volunteers who work tirelessly-from the president of Catahoula Rescue, Inc on down....but for as many people as there are-the need is greater! We need volunteers FOR MANY things! Go to Catahoula Rescue for more information. We need YOU to help us. Become a foster or volunteer in many other ways in YOUR state. EVERY hand counts in saving lives!

Catahoula Rescue, Inc is completely funded by private donors. We do have an adoption fee, but those seldom do more than cover the basic vetting each dog requires. Please consider gift certificates to national chain pet stores, Walmart, phone cards or
prepaid gasoline cards to help our many volunteers, fosters and
transport volunteers. Without them we could not do what we do...and those expenses are all out of pocket for each of us.
