"Ambrose is a shelter favourite - he loves to play and would love to live with another playful kitty. He is a superfriendly and easygoing cat - please come meet him!



Puddy was an abandoned kitty living out in the world trying to survive. She really needs a caring owner to give her security for the rest of her life. She is a gentle and sweet kitty who loves people... but would prefer to be the only kitty in the house.

SEPTEMBER 2008: WE ARE LOOKING FOR PEOPLE TO FOSTER OUR SENIOR KITTIES OR STRESSED KITTIES WHO REALLY NEED A RELAXED ENVIRONMENT TO THRIVE IN. IF YOU HAVE THE TIME TO FOSTER OR GIVE A KITTY A VACATION SPOT FOR AWHILE, WE WILL ACTIVELY TRY TO FIND THEM A HOME WHILE THEY ARE IN YOUR HOME. Cats & Kittens

KITTENS

 Spring 2008 - Kittens are $100 and include an approval for a low cost spay or neuter package (spay/vaccination and id tattoo) and a free vet check

OUR SHELTER IS FULL OF BEAUTIFUL FRIENDLY ADULT AND YOUNG ADULT CATS

Adult cats are $100 and include spay or neuter, tattoo, deworm/deflea, and a free check-up with a veterinarian within 3 days.


Shelter News

If anyone can offer assistance, either financial or just help with the everdday tasks at the shelter, please contact Madelin directly at 604-309-5388 or 604-856-4866. The outdoor area is great for the kitties to sun themselves and to get fresh air. TLC Pet Adoption is a non-profit organization, comprised of a small group of dedicated individuals, who alongside the shelter?s heart and soul Madeline Gilmore, volunteer their own time and resources, in order to rescue, care for, rehabilitate, and find good loving permanent homes for the ever growing large population of unwanted and abandoned cats.

Fostering

Fostering is one of the most important things you can do to help our four legged friends have a second chance at a normal life. Please contact us if you can help by caring for one of our many cats.




Volunteers

WE ARE LOOKING FOR FRIENDLY VOLUNTEERS TO JOIN US IN HELPING THE HOMELESS!!!

If you are interested in helping out at the shelter, please contact Madelin for an orientation.


Donations

If you would like to help the cats, we are looking for new and good used items to be donated for the animals. The following items are on the animals wish list:
  • Litter - nonclumping or other
  • Dry and canned food: favourites: nutracal & iams, Mother hubbard (chicken and fish), friskies/Whiskas
  • Vari Kennels
  • Cat climbing apparatuses, toys, brushes
  • Bath Matts, Rugs, or towels
WE NEED MORE STAINLESS STEEL BOWLS;-) Please call us to drop items off or to have them picked up. Your donations will benefit the well being of all the animals at the shelter!
