Dylan has come a long, long way, and is now ready for adoption.
Dylan came to us terrified of all people, not wanting to be touched or handled in any way. He has turned into a loving and playful boy, that will always have some level of fear issues, but is 100% better than he once was.
Dylan would do best in a home that has another dog, is home a lot of the time, and is interested in continuing on in his socialization. We feel another dog in the home will help Dylan transition better and relate to the world around him.
What a loving boy he has become!

Who We Are And What We Do
German Shepherd Rescue of BC is a group of committed volunteers helping homeless German Shepherds.
We believe that every animal has a specific fit with that one special family or person. This is why we are committed to successful placements of our dogs, with one goal in mind. A happy ending for all! GSRBC is dedicated to the protection and rescue efforts of British Columbia's German Shepherds with a mission to promote humane principles, ensure proper placement of animals within our care, and to help eliminate overpopulation of these beautiful and highly misunderstood creatures through spay and neutering..
Adopting a friend
We require a home visit, at least one letter of recommendation from a pet professional (i.e.: veterinarian, animal trainer, or local humane organization) on letterhead. If you have other pets, copies of vaccinations and proof of spay/neuter is required prior to adoption. If you have children and/or other dogs, it is recommended that you bring the whole family to the appointment. In the case of other dogs, prior arrangements for a neutral meeting place will be made.
It is our policy not to adopt our pets to homes where the other pets are not already spayed/neutered. If you'd like to adopt, you may, but will be unable to bring the new dog home until the other pets are spayed/neutered.
It is the GSRBC's discretion whether or not we choose to adopt to any given situation. All of our dogs are spayed/neutered before they are placed.
