Our Wonderful Foster Dogs!

Our rescue will no longer be physically taking any new cats and envision shutting down our rescue in 2010. We were able to operate because we received support from other rescues who helped provide food for our foster cats. That has ended and we can no longer keep-up with the cost of buying cat food and litter. We can only help by posting new pets on our three websites and sending information about cats/dogs in need to other reputable rescues. Thank you.
Sonora!!



Sonora is a very special rescue kitty. She was placed in a cardboard box, taped-up, and abandoned at Animal Control. When the Animal Control officers looked in the box she was very angry. Sonora was closed back-up in the box and put in the room for euthanasia. The next day, they opened the box and found her with 2 brand new babies. She was given a cage and we took her to a proper foster home the next day.
Sonora was named one of the best foster kitties from her foster family. She is very sweet, and loves affection from people. She does well with other cats at Petsmart, but she just begs to come sit in anyone's lap. She has two extra front toes! Sonora has been spayed, vaccinated, and tested negative for FeLV/FIV. Her adoption donation is $95, refundable within 30 days if she does not work out. Sonora is currently waiting for her forever home at the Petsmart on Val Vista/Guadalupe.

Who We Are

Fairy Tails is a volunteer rescue with our main foster home located in Mesa and serving the Phoenix area. We are dedicated to finding loving, forever homes for unwanted pets, and have pets waiting in foster care for their forever families. We promote responsible pet parenting and have available information on spay/neuter, routine vet care, and other pet-related subjects. We welcome committed individuals interested in volunteering with us.

Adopting a friend

Fairy Tails Rescue wants to ensure the right home for each of our pets, and the right pet for each of our adopters. For the safety of our pets and our peace of mind, we may require a home visit for dog adoptions. We always will ask you to sign an adoption contract at the time of adoption. Adoption donation amounts vary, depending on age of the animal, breed, and if they were part of a transport from Missouri (there are many more costs in getting the dogs to Phoenix).
