Who We Are
We are Southern Arizona Boxer Rescue, a 501(c)3 non-profit rescue group devoted to rescue of abandoned, abused and owner surrender boxers in Arizona and Western New Mexico. We are members of C.A.B.R.A. and work hand in hand with the Roswell New Mexico Humane Society, Pima Animal Control, Humane Society of So. AZ., and the Arizona Humane Society. We've been in operation for over fourteen years and have placed thousands of dogs in terrific forever homes!
Adopting a friend
Our adoption procedure includes an application, a home visit before placement and a contract . This stipulates among other things, that if for any reason you can no longer keep your boxer, it must be returned to Southern Arizona Boxer Rescue. Our adoption fee for adult boxers is variable, and puppies under a year are usually more. Our fee includes spay/neuter, shots, medical tests, microchipping and care while waiting for adoption. ALL OUR DOGS ARE ALTERED BEFORE ADOPTION. We try our best to place these wonderful creatures in forever homes. Our biggest concern is the welfare and the happiness of each rescued dog we place. If the dog you like is not the best suited, we will probably have another one that is, so please be patient.
Come Visit Us!
Our dogs are usually in fosters, so there is no central place to visit. We will be happy to introduce you to your new love after the interviews and home visit!
