Who We Are
Our Mission:
We are committed to improving the lives of animals, one at a time ... whether by providing a safe and loving foster home, or thoughtful relocation via adoption, or simply by acting as a community-based resource for adoption networking, spay/neuter, and medical care for animals in need. As resources and space permit, or as situations dictate, we pursue the most effective and the most compassionate courses of action. We provide complete veterinary/medical attention as well as food and necessary care supplies for all animals placed into Morning Starr foster homes.
Our Goal:
We are a "No-Kill" Sanctuary with limited resources. Therefore, our extension of services rendered depends entirely upon the monetary supply and open foster homes available to us at any given time. Our immediate goals are to expand the number of foster homes in the community and to broaden our educational programs in order to better equip the public in becoming the most responsible pet guardians they can be. We are currently formulating low cost community-friendly spay/neuter programs in order to reduce unwanted pet births. We believe with conviction that no animal should be born simply to die.
