Happy Tails Dachshund Rescue is always looking for good foster homes for our little doxies. When you foster, you agree to provide a loving and safe home for a Happy Tails Dachshund until he or she is adopted. If you are interested in volunteering your home and your heart to a homeless Dachshund, please visit our website www.happytailsdr.org . Click on the Documents link on the left and complete our interactive "Volunteer/Foster Agreement". You can email the document to happytailsdr@yahoo.com and become a foster as soon as you are ready. Please help us give a Dachshund a second chance.
By the way, we have foster families in the Phoenix and Tucson areas.

Who We Are
Our Mission at Happy Tails Dachshund Rescue, Inc. (HTDR) is to save as many dachshunds as possible from suffering and premature death due to abuse, neglect, abandonment, injury, or illness. We foster unwanted dogs whose owners are no longer able or willing to provide for their care, and place them with adoptive families who can provide loving, forever homes. We spay/neuter all dogs before adoption, and contact our adoptive families in the first week to check on the health of their relationship with their new pet. Our area of operation is the East Valley of the Greater Phoenix Area, plus Casa Grande and north Tucson.
Come Visit Us
Come visit us at the Petsmart store located just off US 60 on Stapley Ave. in Mesa AZ. We are located in the adoption center from 12-4 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays.
