We are a non-profit 501(c)3, all-volunteer group whose mission is to advocate for homeless Catahoulas and Catahoula mixes, to place these animals in permanent, loving homes, and to promote responsible guardianship through humane education.
Adopting a friend
If you are interested in adopting one of our dogs, the first step is to complete the online adoption application available at our main website www.catahoularescue.com
From the home page follow the link "How to Adopt". Once your application has been received and reviewed you will be contacted via email by one of our volunteers. After your application is approved, the foster parent for the dog you have selected will contact you to answer any questions you may have and determine if that dog is a good match for your family. If you have no particular dog in mind, we will be happy to keep your application on file and notify you if the right dog should come into rescue.
