Who We Are
K9 rescue is a very small all breed rescue run by a few volunteers. We are funded totally by our volunteers. Every penny spent on our dogs comes out of our pockets. We rescue our dogs from the local shelter, owner surrenders, and we take dogs from many other rescues.
K9 Rescue is more importantly a coalition. We foster or house dogs for many other rescues and they are available for adoption through us.
We operate all over Arizona and California. If you would be interested in donating or helping out in any way please email us. We are always looking for foster homes and sponsors for our dogs.
Adopting a friend
The adoption process is very simple. It contains four steps.
First email us to get more information on a dog you are interested in and provide any questions you have. We will email you back with more info, answers, and an adoption application.
Second return the completed adoption application to us and we will contact you by phone to discuss your application and the dog you are interested in.
Third if a home visit is required then we will bring the dog to meet you. if it isn't required then we can bring the dog to meet you or you can come to us to.
Fourth the adoption is completed. This means that a contract is signed and an adoption donation is given. Our adoption fees range from $50 to $350 as is determined on a dog to dog basis.
