Grant
Grant is a very handsome, gentle dog who is very well behaved at home. Grant is approximately 2 years old and is an aussie/ hound mix. He is a bit on the insecure side and it takes him awhile to warm up to new people. He must have had a rough start in life but he has come a long way from when I first got him.. Who We Are
Cold Wet Noses is a small group of individuals who take in the dogs that are going to be euthanized on any given day. We do this, when we can (when we have room for them), from Pima Animal Care Center (PACC). A number of rescue groups like SAFE, ARF, and FAIR, as well as the breed specific rescue organizations get their animals from PACC. We are different in that we are a very grass roots group that is not a 501(c)3. We bear all of the cost for spaying or neutering, micro-chipping, food, . We're just a bunch of dog lovers who are trying to help as many furry souls as we can. The animals live with us so we know their personally and what would be the best fit for them.
Adopting a Friend
We have over 40 dogs in various foster homes and we are a small rescue THAT DOESNT COMPARE TO THE NUMBERS THAT ARE IN THE BIGGER RESCUES. We are all trying to save every dog & cat we can but we CANT with out your help. How can you help?? Support your local shelter. I always say in every posting "THE BEST DOGS COME OUT OF PACC" and I mean it... why pay an expensive price for a pet store pet when you can find the best with your local purebred rescues and mixed breed rescues. We are all full to capacity, if you dont support your local shelterS, your local rescue groupS, then thousands more will be euthanized. In one day 21 dogs needed rescue from our local shelter, we get calls every day to save more and we cant without your help. Of the ones that dont get rescued well they got euthanized because there was no one to SAVE THEM. Please spay and neuter your pets. Please when moving always take your pet with you. Would you leave your child behind, NO. Pets can surely be less of a pain then your child surely!!!. So be responsible. LOVE YOUR PET. THINK OF HIM OR HER AS YOUR FAMILY, THEY THINK THAT WAY EVERY DAY. PLEASE PLEASE SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL SHELTERS AND RESCUES ALL SUMMER LONG AND THRU OUT THE YEAR AND SAVE A LIFE.... Come Visit Us!
The 2nd and 4th Sunday of every month we are at Petco at Broadway and Craycroft on the NorthWest Corner (next to ToysRus). You can also contact us and we will arrange a private visit or an overnight stay with one of the available dogs you are interested in adopting.
