Our Featured Pet...
Hi! I'm Gizmo. I enjoy being with people and rubbing against you to show my affection. I lke to have my head and neck rubbed. I'm a real sweetie! I'm docile and like to be picked up and cuddled. And I like to lay in my pink bed (that comes with me) and be petted. I'm very curious and playful. I like chasing a laser light and batting at dangling toys. I only had one owner my whole life, but he can't keep me anymore. I've been around nice dogs, kids and cats, and adapted well. But I crave adult attention, and don't socialize with other animals much. At my foster home, I'm very relaxed and welcome people to pet me. But I'm afraid and anxious when I'm in a cage at adoptions. So I'm hoping that you will see me online, visit and adopt me before I have to go into a cage again! If you're looking for a real lover, that would be ME! Please take me home. Love Gizmo
News
Be sure to keep checking our newest postings of kitties available for adoption...we have almost 100 bottle-babies that are/will soon be ready to find a home. If you're looking for a precious little kitten, we have Siamese, Manx, Russian Blue, Calico, Tabbies and many other breeds to select from. They range in color from orange, black, black and white, grey and many other color combinations. And they are all ADORABLE!
Because of the huge amount of cats and kittens that we've taken in during the recent weeks, our funds are running seriously low. If you can find it in your heart to make a tax-deductible donation to Paws For Love, please call Denise at 623-692-3543 for mailing instructions. We thank you, and the kitties thank you!!!

Who We Are
The mission statement of Paws for Love is: We strive to prevent cruelty by rescuing lost, abandoned and unwanted cats and kittens, to find them homes.
We are a non-profit, all volunteer tax-exempt organization. We do not have a shelter or even an office. We rescue animals which have been abandoned, get them back to optimum health, rehabilitate them, have them spayed/neutered, vaccinated and then they are ready for adoption. From the time the animal is rescued until it has been adopted, the animal lives in one of our foster homes.
All of the donations we receive go for the animals. We do not have a paid staff, and all of our volunteers use some of their own resources to help the animals.
Throughout the year, we will hold special fundraisers and are presently working on joining with other rescue groups and sponsors to make these events exciting and informative.
Adopting a friend
ADOPT A RESCUED ANIMAL, SAVE TWO LIVES. Our animals come in all shapes and sizes. They look very different on the outside, but they have one common thread--at one time they were unwanted or in trouble. Maybe they got out while in heat and wound up pregnant, or someone moved and "forgot" to take the animal with them. However it happened, the result was the same--they needed to be rescued and rehabilitated so they could find a forever home.
When you adopt a rescued animal, you actually save TWO lives. The one you take home is now assured that someone loves it and it will live its life protected from outside elements that would threaten them--other wild animals, cars and uncaring people. But you also free up space so that we can take in another animal in need.
Every animal we adopt has been spayed/neutered, is current on vaccinations, and is healthy to the best of our knowledge. We also recommend that you take the animal for a wellness check. At some of our adoption centers, adoptees receive a certificate for a checkup at Banfield Animal Hospital (located inside PetSmart). Your records for your new pet will include the dates of all vaccinations and a medical record, if that animal needed to receive any other medical care. All of this is included in the adoption fee: $60 for adults, or two adults for $100 and $80 for kittens, or two kittens for $150.
We are always seeking responsible and dedicated foster homes in which our animals can live until they are adopted. Without these homes, we cannot help the animals. If you are interested in becoming a foster parent, please call Denise at 623-692-3543.
OTHER WAYS YOU CAN HELP: As with any rescue organization, we are always in need of contributions to pay our vet bills and medication costs. Spaying and neutering costs are our biggest expense. We will not adopt-out any animal which has not been spayed/neutered.
Another way you can help save many animals lives is by remembering us in your will.
