Who We Are
A small land-based 'respite-home' for animals that have been in shelters for extended length's of time,rescued from neglect and/or abuse,stray's,dogs who need rehabilitation and nourishment of body and spirit.All of our animals are temperament tested,current on health needs and spayed or neutered.Adoptions are through telephone interview's and require a home visit and follow up visit.We invest our time matching each animal and family for lifestyle and environment,so that they have the best possible forever home and you have the animal that suits your family lifestyle.
We do not ship our animals, they all are given the opportunity to be part of our family so that they have a good range of social skills,and the joy of a new found freedom they had not yet experienced. We cook all the meals for our dogs daily and provide nutritional supplements so that by the time they find their new home they are healthy and ready for that forever home,and continued good health and care. With the help of other organizations and individuals we also provide other services,like transport,adoption events and networking on behalf of animals and their owner's.We are not a public facility,after we do our phone interview,we arrange at a convenient time and location for you to meet the animal.Each animal is different in their temperament and experience,so sometimes it takes a little more effort on the families part to be patient with them and take time for them to get used to the love they have not yet experienced.
