Who We Are
The Oasis Sanctuary is a 501 (c)(3) tax-exempt lifecare facility for Exotic Captive Birds, primarily Parrots. WE DO NOT ADOPT OUT BIRDS... The Oasis works with Avian Rescue groups and adoption programs throughout the United States to find homes for placeable birds. Contact us for a program near you. We only accept birds who cannot be rehomed due to age, temperment or infirmity, or if the bird's caretaker has passed away or is going into nursing home or hospice.
To place a bird at The Oasis, or get help finding an appropriate adoptiopn program for a bird, call 520-212-4737.
Upon occasion we do take in rescue animals, particularly CATS and DOGS who are found in the desert near our f acility, or are on the "e" lists at local Arizona shelters. We rehabilitate and rehome these animals.
We do not take in cats or dogs from the public.
The Oasis Sanctuary is located in a very rural and remote portion of Cochice County Arizona. We will adopt out throughout Cochise, the Tucson Metro area and parts of the Phoenix metro area. If you are within a 2 hour drive of Benson AZ we will work with you.
