Our facility is located in Avra Valley, just Northwest of Tucson. We have rescue horses for adoption, and are always in need of assistance in raising funds for feed, new shelters, and vet care. Help Needed:
We need sponsors! If you are not in a position to adopt a pet, perhaps you can sponsor one! You will receive a picture of your sponsored pet and an update on how they are doing. The pet will remain for adoption, but your sponsorship will make a huge difference in their care and support while here at the charity. Your donations are tax-deductible, and we welcome business sponsors as well as individuals.
Who We Are
Unconditional Love Foundation was founded in 1998, in Tucson Arizona. ULF is a federally recognized non-profit organization, with tax-exempt status, allowing all donations received to be tax-deductible. We rescue horses, rehabilitate them at our ranch facility, and try to adopt them out to loving, pre-approved homes. We are a no-kill shelter. We believe every animal has a right to live, without a time limit placed over their heads. Our first concern is to be humane to every animal in our care, so if there is a situation where the animal is truly suffering and beyond repair, it is then, and only then, that we will euthanize. Our goal for our adopted horses is to pair them up with a lifetime friend, whether an adult or child, who can benefit from the love and friendship of the horse, and grow both emotionally and socially as a result of this relationship.
Adopting a friend
The required donation for adopting a horse is $500. Your home must be inspected to make sure it is appropriate for the animal you are adopting. We require our adoptors to have or rent a horse facility, consisting of a covered stall and atleast one acre of land for pasture and exercise. Previous horse ownership is also required.
Adoptors will need to sign an adoption contract agreeing to return the animal to our facility only, and must have proof of income to show their ability to afford the veterinary care of the animal. Our adopted animals must be spayed or neutered and cannot be used for breeding or selling purposes.
++Please note: We are not a medical facility++ If you need medical assistance for your animal please contact the Humane Society right away, or a local vet. Also, we are NOT able to take animals at our facility that are infected with any infectious disease, because we do not have the facilities to quarantine such animals.
