Arizona Great Pyrenees Association, a member of the Great Pyrenees Club of America, is a breed specific dog club that focus much of its time and energy on Great Pyrenees Rescue. WE ARE PRESENTLY THE ONLY GPCA AFFILLIATED CLUB IN AZ INVOLVED IN ACTIVE RESCUE!
AZPyrs actively fosters and re-homes purebred Great Pyrenees throughout the entire state of Arizona. We strive to home foster - NOT kennel foster. Each dog that we place is vet checked, heartworm tested, surgically altered and temperment tested. Home and reference checks are conducted before placement. Followup is done after placement. AZPyrs is always available for newly adoptive Pyr parents with advice on health, temperment or general Pyrenees questions. As a Club, AZPyrs schedules many informational, educational and fun social events for the enjoyment of Great Pyrenees fanciers. An adoption application can be found on our website.
