< New event -- We are playing BINGO 2 Saturday nights a month.Please call the shelter at 479-738-1505 for the scheduled nights. $ 12.00 for 10 games and 3 early bird games ($1 each). Cash is paid to winners (amount depending on attendance) and several door prizes are given out each time. January 2012 we started some new and exciting games..........come check it out!
The 2012 Paws and Claws 2 and 5 Mile Run/Walk will once again be at Wihrow Springs Park (on Hwy 23 North of Huntville) on the last Saturday of March (31st) The race start will be 8:30. Early registration (guaranteed "goodie bag" and shirt) for the event is $18 and may be mailed to Polly Potter 703 Diana Pl. Huntsville, AR 72740. Registration on Race Day is $20 and will include goodie bag and shirt until we run out! The day also includes a Pet Hike (3/4 mile) and prizes for various categories are given to doggie participants. Delicious and healthy snacks will be served at the completion of the race. Various awards will be given out. Donations Needed
We use PayPal to accept donations online. PayPal is safe, secure and convenient, and is available 24 hours per day. If you do not have a PayPal account, you can still donate by using any major credit card. Simply click the "Donate" button and follow the instructions. The Madison County Pet Shelter will never share any of your information with anyone for any reason. PayPal keeps your information private and will not send you junk mail, spam or telemarketing calls. If you'd like to make a donation but don't feel comfortable using the internet to do so, please feel free to send us a check or money order directly.

Our adoption fee is $65 for cats and dogs, which includes spay/neuter, and up to date vacinations, except for rabies. SPECIAL-----Senior pet adoption discount: We have many beautiful older cats needing homes. If you are 60 or older adopt a friend for $35.00. Boys and girls - all shots given along with rabies tag and spayed and neutered.Find the love of your retirement and adopt a pet.

Relinquishment Fees------1 Cat or kitten $22.50. Pregnant cat or mom with litter $40.00. Each litter mate over 6 will be an extra $5.00. Dog or puppy $27.50 each. Pregnant dog or dog with litter of 6 $50.00. Each pup over 6 is $7.50 each.
The fees help us with shots,wormer,food,flee and tick treatment,and medications when needed.

Who We Are
We are a 501(c)3 organization dedicated to the rescue & rehabilitation of the strays in the Huntsvlle and Madison County area. Our Mission is to provide food, shelter and medical care for the animals in need - Due to our limited space there are times that unless we can place an animal in foster care we are unable to keep the animal until the animal can be adopted into a loving home. Consider joining our foster care program and help us help the strays!
Our facility like many others operates solely on the kind hearted donations from private parties and the surrounding community.

Directions from Fayetteville: From Elkins takes Hwy 74 to Huntsville city limits. Watch for Airport Rd. 980 to the right (Lg EMS headquarters on corner). Take slight jog to the left at Madison Co. Recycling Center. At T (6555) take a right. Shelter will be on your right.
Alternate route: Hwy 45 to Hwy 412 into Huntsville. Take a left at Hwy 74 junction. Go about 1/2 mile to Airport Rd 980 on your left. Continue as above.
We are currently presenting adoptable dogs at Ozark Natural Foods at 1554 N. College in Fayetteville (Evelynn Hills Shopping Center). Weather permitting we are there two Saturdays each month from 10:00 to 12:00 (check Facebook page for exact dates). Please stop by and meet our friends!
