Who we are
Jacksonville Shelter is a low-kill shelter located in Jacksonville, Arkansas. We work very hard to find as many "forever homes" as possible for all of our animals! We invite all rescue groups to contact us, as we are very rescue-friendly and would love to work with you!
Adopting a friend
Adoption fee is $55 for dogs and cats, and this fee includes spay or neuter if necessary. Contact a local veterinarian to schedule an appointment for sterilization and rabies vaccination ( and addiontional cost to the new owner.) We will transport the animal to the vet, and the new owner will pick up their new family member after surgery.
Any animal that does not meet the standards for surgery will qualify for a waiver from the shelter before the animal is taken home.
