SUMMER IS HERE - AND SO ARE THE PUPPIES & KITTENS!
We are, as always, getting large numbers of unwanted puppies and kittens, as well as adult dogs and cats. If you are looking for a pet, please consider adopting from us! Our Mobile Adoption Unit can be found at Lakewood Village on Friday and Saturday from 12:30 - 7:30 p.m., weather permiting.
Many of our animals have been pre-sterilized. The puppies are vaccinated and wormed, and the adult dogs have been heartworm tested. Come take a look - we love to make a deal! We often do "Buy one - Get one free"! :)

WE'RE HAPPY TO REPORT!
2003 was a record year for us. It was the first year that we were able to adopt out 100% of our adoptable animals! So far this year we have seen the same success.
We hope to be able to continue to find homes for all of our animals. However, we can only do so with the help of our residents. If you are a North Little Rock resident, we urge you to consider spaying or neutering you pets.
Animal Control offers an assistant program to residents of North Little Rock that will help with the cost of spaying and neutering their animals.
Who We Are
NLR Animal Control is a municipal facility which strives to provide quality and humane Animal Control Services to the Citizens of North Little Rock. We work very hard to adopt out as many homeless pets as possible via local newspaper, T.V. and radio stations as well as through our Shelter and our Mobile Adoption Unit.
Adopting a friend
Looking for a new Companion? Come adopt from us! Our adoption policy does require that all animals be spayed or neutered before being released to a new owner. We are required to sterilize our animals by State law. If you find a pet you would like to adopt, the fees are $30.00 for cats and $40.00 for dogs. This fee will cover the sterilization of your new pet.
At this time we are not able to complete out-of-state adoptions. We are very sorry, but we hope to be able to do so in the future!
