I am an independent rescuer who takes dogs from shelters, puppy mills, and individuals. I have the dogs spayed/neutered, vaccinated, their teeth cleaned, and any other medical treatments done that are needed. I groom them and put them on heartworm preventative and a high quality diet. Many of the dogs I rescue receive heartworm treatment, dental work, or some other expensive medical treatment. My expenses exceed my adoption fees.
Adopting a friend
The first step in the adoption process is to e-mail me and request an adoption application. All e-mails will be answered within 12 hours and you will be notified of the decision within 12 hours of my receipt of your completed application. If I don't respond, I didn't get your email or you didn't get mine, in which case you'll need to call me. Long distance adoptions are welcome, but in most cases you will have to come pick up the dog or arrange transportation. However, I have access to a professional dog transport that goes to the northeast coast, so for an additional $150 I can get it anywhere along the route from here to Maine (see a map). SATISFACTION GUARANTEED on all adopted pets. You may return the pet for any reason at any time in it's life, and if you do so within the first year, you may have a full refund of the adoption fee.
