The K-9 Hospice is a 501(c)3 no-kill dog rescue and shelter devoted to providing a forever home to ill, injured, and abused or neglected dogs that might otherwise be considered "unadoptable" (and thus put to death) at other shelters or dog pounds. Since the K-9 Hospice was founded several years ago by Gerald Laswell, it has been a sanctuary to hundreds of dogs. Gerald's vision was a simple one - to provide a place where a dog could, well, just simply be a dog, with plenty of good food and water, vet care, and lots of room to roam, dig holes, or just sleep in the sun!
At this time there are no adptable dogs at the site we share with another area nonprofit rescue group, as we work to make some much needed site improvements and raise funds for a more sustainable operation. Please check back again later this spring to see what's new!
