Out Of The Woods is a nonprofit animal welfare and rescue organization that formed in early 2007. We believe that all domesticated animals deserve a loving home. We mostly help independent rescuers by providing multiple website listings and discounted veterinarian services for the ones they have rescued. Our other focus has been to help dogs that are in desperate situations in rural areas where there is no other help. We have had wonderful support from Pinnacle Valley Animal Hospital and Dr. Laura Mehaffy who cares for all our rescued pets. Out Of The Woods is a tax exempt 501 (c) (3) nonprofit animal rescue organization!

Please contact us by email to receive an adoption application for one of our adoptable pets. The adoption fee varies when transportation is needed.
How You Can Help
PROVIDE A FOSTER HOME: OOTW is always in need of foster homes for adoptable pets. Please consider providing a home on a temporary basis to one in need. It is wonderful to have the opportunity to save a life and make it possible for them to find their forever home! We will take care of all veterinarian costs and you can provide the love.
VOLUNTEER YOUR TIME: OOTW is completely run by volunteers and we are always in need of more.
SPONSOR A PET: If you are not in a position to adopt a pet, you can still make a difference by sponsoring. Your donation will help OOTW cover the cost of sheltering and providing medical care for a pet.
