Helping Hands turned 14 years old in January 2009. With the help of dedicated volunteers and public support ,we have been able to rescue and place thousands of animals over the years. Our goals are to help more animals in 2009, increase our efforts in education, promote spay/neuter and work toward improving conditions in our local shelters.
Who We Are
Helping Hands For Little Paws is a non-profit Fostercare based group that rescues companion animals from local shelters and our streets. These animals have been abandoned, lost their homes or are facing a death sentence. We then place them in permanent homes where they will be loved and cared for.
Adopting A Friend
We charge a $125.00 adoption fee on dogs and $90.00 on cats. All our animals have been heartworm tested (dogs), FIV/Feleuk (cats), altered and are up to date on shots and heartworm preventative. Click here for our ONLINE APPLICATION
Come Visit Us
Although we do not have a shelter (these animals are all in fostercare homes) you can view animals up for adoption at by clicking the link below. You can see many of the cats and dogs that we have in the program during our adoption days at Petsmart on Chenal in Little Rock. The next time we will be at Petsmart is July 11 from 11 am to 4 pm.
We do not ship or transport animals and all potential adopters will be interviewed in person before custody of the animal is released.
